Outfest Fusion Highlights QTBIPOC Film Online And In Person

Outfest Fusion represents diversity in cinema in a manner that creates change. It is a multifaceted celebration of cinema for the Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (QTBIPOC) community, which will run through April 17 this year. It is about not just celebrating the sheer beauty of mankind’s personal, sexual and cultural differences but also how the reflection of art on the distinctions can aid us in finding common ground.

LA has an entertainment community with a rich heritage, and Outfest Fusion also focuses on it. That is what causes the screenings, panels, and workshops of the event to be so one-of-a-kind. A group of shorts that explore identity and relationships is part of this event, besides a documentary regarding television personality Pedro Zamora and panels on finding our unique voice. For your information, Zamora was an HIV-positive and openly gay person known for the film entitled ‘The Real World: San Francisco’. You can learn more about him from the documentary entitled ‘Keep the Cameras Rolling: The Pedro Zamora Way’.

There is an online festival part as well, with a remarkable on-demand line-up and entertainment streamed live. You can go to the website of Outfest Fusion for more information about the event.
