Educational Journey and Artistic Evolution
Pescador’s artistic odyssey commenced at the University of Southern California (USC), initially pursuing film studies. Yet, the conventional Hollywood studio path felt incongruent with their creative vision. This prompted a foray into USC’s Fine Art Department, specifically in photography and video art, where they resonated with profound questions and dialogues. Thus, the desire to nurture their artistic journey was kindled. While their initial exploration at USC led to a minor in Photography, Pescador further refined their skills through an MFA program at the University of California, Irvine. This intensive three-year program offered the necessary time and space for their artistic work to evolve and mature.
