In October 2020, the coronavirus pandemic contributed to the cancellation of plans for Halloween-special events around the US. Therefore, many people wonder whether or not the same thing would happen in Los Angeles County. We will know the fate of Halloween celebrations soon.
Meanwhile, horror and gothic fans were able to have Fall-style and fiendish fun at the 2021 event ‘Midsummer Scream: Awaken the Spirits’. The Pasadena Convention Center hosted the event with hundreds of vendors, presentations regarding what event coordinators expect to bring Angelinos this season, and entertainment. The most notable show during the event was perhaps a rendition of Michael Myers, the masked stalker from John Carpenter’s horror classic entitled ‘Halloween’. It has been over 40 years since the release of Carpenter’s movie, but it continues to inspire creatives.
In December 2021, the convention center is all set to host Season’s Screamings as a holiday event.
