La Bulla Makes Set To Rock For Lucha Libre

Antonio Pelayo Productions is headed smack into the middle of the spotlight thanks to his 7th LA Bulla event set for this weekend. Lovers of Mexican wrestling sure don’t want to miss this. Pelayo partnered with LA Weekly during the last Tacolandia event held in 2019. Since then, Pelayo has thrown different kinds of events with music, art, and fashion as their focus.

The Lucha Libre focused gathering this year is likelier than most to offer a ton of thrills, all centered on live wrestling, which is the main event. Also part of the celebration is music from Undisputed World Champions, Quita Penas, DJ Alex Escalon, and DJ ChrisRox. Always a highpoint at such parties is the La Bulla art exhibit, which this time around will showcase 100 local artists with interpretations of the lucha aesthetic, alongside Solar themed pieces designed by Pelayo and Johnny KMNDZ Rodriguez ahead of the show. The festivities will be rounded out with drinks, food, screenings, car shows, and one of Elvira Zamora’s fashion presentations.

“Live music, live lucha libre & art has become a big part of the tradition at La Bulla and over the years I’ve been proud to feature an eclectic line-up of extremely talented musicians from various musical genres,” Pelayo says. “This year for the 7th Anniversary of La Bulla, I’m excited to present another awesome line-up of entertainment… It’s an incredible feeling to be able to provide a platform that showcases the talents of so many amazing artists and musicians.”
